We are the pioneers of the daytime Swordfishing technique in France. I have worked to improve our technique and maximize the chance of hooking up with a swordfish.
In Martigues daytime swordfishing is done in 1200 to 1800 feet of water. I use 12 to 18 pounds of "paver" bricks to carry your dead bait down to the bottom.
I use only one rod with reel shimano tiagra 80 loaded with 1524 meters of braided line.The fish are caught by IGFA rules.
